Last Updated: 28 Apr 2026
GENERAL QUESTIONS
1. What is an e-Invoice?

An e-Invoice is a digital receipt provided by Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) that includes the supplier’s and buyer’s details, item description, quantity, price excluding tax, applicable tax, and the total amount of your purchase.

For more information about e-Invoice, kindly visit LHDN's website at https://www.hasil.gov.my/en/e-invoice/about-e-invoice/

2. Why is e-Invoice being implemented?

Businesses are implementing mandatory e-Invoice in stages, according to the annual turnover threshold of taxpayers. We are required by Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) to achieve e-Invoice compliance by 1st August 2024, as the e-invoices effectively serve as both proof of income and expense.

3. Why do I need an e-Invoice for my purchase?

An e-Invoice will be your supporting document for making expense claims, as your employers will be able to verify these transactions with the LHDN. However, if you are not making an expense claim for this purchase, you do not need to obtain an e-Invoice.

4. When can I start requesting an LHDN e-Invoice?

Starting 1st August 2024, an e-Invoice request will be available to you via our Self Service platform. This service is available for Pizza Hut purchases through Delivery, Takeaway, and Dine-in.

For Pizza Hut products purchased via Food Aggregators (Foodpanda, GrabFood, ShopeeFood), the e-Invoice availability is subject to the platform provider.

5. How do I request an e-Invoice?

Upon receiving your receipt, you may log on to the Pizza Hut Invoice Hub by scanning the QR code on your physical receipt.

6. What information is required from me and why?

Upon scanning the QR code, you will be taken to Pizza Hut Invoice Hub to input your details. Information marked with * is mandatory for your e-Invoice request.

7. How long do I have to request an e-Invoice after making a purchase?

Within 30 days from the date of purchase. Please refer to the date on the receipt.

8. How soon can I request an e-Invoice after my purchase?

You may request your e-Invoice at 10.00 am the day after your purchase.

For example, if you purchase a meal at 6.00 pm on a Monday, you will be able to access the Pizza Hut Invoice Hub on Tuesday after 10.00 am to submit your e-Invoice request.
